Software Engineer I

 Location: East Bend, North Carolina (On-Site) 

 Experience Level: Entry Level

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Software Engineer I to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves full-stack development using the Microsoft ecosystem, as well as hands-on work with embedded systems. You’ll contribute to the design and deployment of high-quality medical applications. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Develop and deploy web applications using a Microsoft stack on Azure
  • Build responsive web front ends using React and design RESTful APIs
  • Contribute to the development of cross-platform applications targeting Android, iOS, and other platforms using modern frameworks and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform mobile development frameworks
  • Experience writing unit tests and working with testing frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
